Starting from now, some domestically produced 2024 XC40 cars produced from March 10, 2023 to December 20, 2023 will be recalled, a total of 6,608 vehicles.

Due to a software problem in some vehicles within the scope of this recall, the central electronic module (CEM) may misdetect the halogen turn signal turn-on current as a short-circuit current, resulting in the turn signal not working and being unable to provide turn signals to other traffic participants, increasing There are risks of accidents and potential safety hazards.

Zhejiang Haoqing Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will use vehicle remote upgrade (OTA) technology to upgrade CEM software free of charge for vehicles within the recall scope; for vehicles that cannot be recalled through OTA technology, Zhejiang Haoqing Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will use Volvo Cars Authorized dealers proactively contact relevant users to upgrade the vehicle software for free to eliminate safety hazards.

Zhejiang Haoqing Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will notify relevant users by registered mail or other means.
