NIO delivered 5,074 new cars in April and 693 units of its flagship sedan ET7

On May 1, NIO announced its April delivery volume, with a total of 5,074 smart electric vehicles delivered, including 693 units of its smart electric flagship sedan ET7. As of the end of April 2022, the total delivery volume of NIO's ES8, ES6, EC6, and ET7 pure electric vehicles has reached 197,912 units.

Previously on April 26, a NIO ET7 in Antarctic blue drove out of the inspection line, marking NIO’s 200,000th mass-produced vehicle officially rolling off the assembly line. From May 2018 to April 2022, NIO took less than four years to roll out 200,000 mass-produced vehicles. Among them, it took one year for the second 100,000 units to roll off the assembly line.

The rollout of the 200,000th mass-produced vehicle is an important milestone in NIO’s comprehensive acceleration in 2022. The new models ET7, ET5, and ES7, which were born on NIO's technology platform NT2, will be delivered one after another; the 2022 ES8, ES6, and EC6 equipped with the latest smart cockpit hardware, as well as smart cockpit upgrade plans for existing users, will be released soon.
