Some Venucia D60 EV/T60 EV recalled due to power interruption risk

A few days ago, Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd., in accordance with the requirements of the "Regulations on the Management of Recall of Defective Automobile Products" and the "Implementation Measures of the Regulations on the Management of Recalls of Defective Automobile Products", reported to the national market supervision and management The General Administration has filed a recall plan. Starting from now, a total of 1,136 Dongfeng Nissan Venucia brand D60EV and T60EV electric vehicles produced from May 8, 2021 to July 20, 2021 will be recalled.

The vehicles within the scope of this recall have defects in the power battery pack due to manufacturing reasons by the supplier. The welding strength of the relay components of the high-voltage distribution box is insufficient. After long-term and durable use, the welded parts may break, causing the relay to not work. If the welding part of the relay breaks while the vehicle is driving, the power of the vehicle will be interrupted, posing a safety hazard.

Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. will check the batch number of the high-voltage distribution box in the power battery pack for the vehicles within the recall scope free of charge. Parts from the batch are replaced with qualified parts to eliminate safety hazards.

Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. will notify relevant car owners through registered mail, phone calls, text messages, etc. to arrange recall and maintenance matters.
