We learned from relevant channels that the BMW iX1 eDrive25L model will be put into production starting in May. BMW iX1 will be launched at the 2023 Chengdu Auto Show, including eDrive25L and xDrive30L models, priced at 299,900 yuan and 339,900 yuan respectively. However, so far, only the xDrive30L model is available. It is understood that the BMW iX1 eDrive25L will be produced at the Tiexi plant and exported to overseas markets in 2025.

The BMW iX1 eDrive25L has appeared in this month’s application drawing of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The overall design of the new car is basically consistent with the xDrive30L on sale. The eDrive25L model offers two appearance options: M sports package and X design package. The two packages have some differences in bumpers, wheel arches, rearview mirrors, and logos.

The interior design of the eDrive25L is expected to be consistent with the xDrive30L model on sale, but as an entry-level model, the new car will definitely have some adjustments in configuration. In terms of power, the eDrive25L model uses a single motor, motor model HB0003N0, with a power of 150kW. The xDrive30L on sale uses four-wheel drive dual motors with a maximum power of 313 horsepower and a maximum torque of 493 N·m.
