Lotus completes U.S. stock listing filing, valued at US$5.4 billion

Recently, the China Securities Regulatory Commission website disclosed the filing notice for the overseas issuance and listing of Lotus Technology Inc.

The China Securities Regulatory Commission stated that Lotus Technology will be listed on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange in the United States through a merger with L Catterton Asia Acquisition Corp, an overseas special purpose merger and acquisition company, with an issuance of no more than 1.81 billion shares of common stock. Within 15 working days after Lotus Technology completes its overseas issuance and listing, it should report the issuance and listing status through the China Securities Regulatory Commission's filing management information system.

Lotus Technology shall strictly implement the rectification requirements put forward by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Commerce and other departments as promised, and strictly abide by relevant domestic and foreign laws and regulations during the overseas issuance and listing process. and rules. If Lotus Technology has not completed overseas issuance and listing within 12 months from the date of issuance of this filing notice and intends to continue to proceed, the filing materials shall be updated.

It is understood that Lotus is a world-famous sports car and racing car manufacturer, and was once translated as Lotus Sports Car. In 2017, Zhejiang Geely Holding Group acquired 49% of Proton Motors and 51% of Lotus Group. According to documents filed by Lotus in October last year, the company's listing valuation will reach $5.4 billion.
