GAC Eon signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Indonesian INDOMOBIL Group

On April 2, GAC Aian signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Indonesian INDOMOBIL Group, marking its official entry into Southeast Asia's largest automobile market. This cooperation further consolidates GAC Aian's "Thailand + Indonesia" dual factory strategic layout.

Indonesia is not only the most populous country in Southeast Asia and the largest automobile consumer, but also has abundant nickel ore resources, which provides strong policy and resource advantages for the development of the automobile industry. INDOMOBIL Group is a large-scale group company whose business covers many fields such as vehicle manufacturing and automobile finance. Its parent company Salin Group is one of the top three consortiums in Indonesia, which will provide strong support for the development of GAC Eon in Indonesia.

According to the cooperation plan of both parties, GAC Aion will carry out all-round strategic cooperation with INDOMOBIL Group in the fields of vehicle manufacturing, automobile sales services and finance, energy ecology, travel market, upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, etc., to provide Indonesian consumers with Provide new energy products to promote the development of the new energy automobile industry in Indonesia and even Southeast Asia.

GAC Aion's globalization strategy is being accelerated. In the Southeast Asian market, it has made significant progress in ASEAN markets such as Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, and has invested in and built its first overseas manufacturing base in Thailand. . With the strategic layout of GAC Aian's "Thailand + Indonesia" dual factories, GAC Aian will share the results of Chinese-style modernization and continuously promote the innovation of new energy vehicle technology. In the future, GAC Aian will further accelerate its global layout and build global production and sales bases in Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, the Americas and other places.
