In terms of appearance, the overall shape of the new car is similar to that of the Mazda CX-60, but the body size is significantly larger. From the side of the body, the new car looks very slender as a whole. It is reported that the overall size of the new car is close to the CX-90, the body length exceeds 4740mm, and the wheelbase may reach 2870mm, but the body width and trunk volume are not as good as the CX-90.

The design of the rear part of the new car is similar to that of the CX-60, adopting a rounded design style, and the recessed trunk lid enriches the sense of hierarchy at the rear of the car. In terms of power, the new car has not yet been exposed, but there is news that the CX-80 will be equipped with an inline six-cylinder engine and a plug-in hybrid system.
