Salon Auto’s first model named Mechalong CLTC has a cruising range of 802km

On the eve of the opening of the Guangzhou Auto Show, Great Wall Motors' new high-end smart electric vehicle brand Salon Auto announced that its first model will be named "Mecha Dragon", and also released a quasi-official picture of the model. As a pure electric mid-to-large four-door coupe, the Mecha Dragon CLTC has a cruising range of 802km and is equipped with 4 laser radars.

In terms of styling, the outline and fold lines of the Mecha Dragon's coupe-style body are relatively tough, giving it the effect of a muscle car. Along with the sliding line at the rear of the roof, there is a design style that is more "slipback".

In terms of power, Mecha Dragon will be equipped with front and rear dual motors, with a maximum system power of 400kW and a maximum torque of 750N·m, in line with Michelin’s high performance The vehicle's 0-100km/h acceleration time is 3.7 seconds. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with Brembo four-piston fixed calipers and large-size brake discs, with a braking distance of only 33 meters.

In terms of battery, the new car uses a 115kwh Dayu battery, which has a 4-level 5-dimensional matrix design, 8 core technologies, and is resistant to 1,000 high temperature. The vehicle has a CLTC cruising range of 802km, a 401km range after 10 minutes of charging, and a 545km range after 15 minutes of charging.

In terms of autonomous driving, the new car adopts the DaVinci architecture, with NPU computing power up to 400TOPS, CPU computing power up to 440K DMIPS, dual safety redundancy, and high-end MRC. There is independent MCU safety monitoring. The vehicle is also equipped with four Huawei 96-line hybrid solid-state lidar, with a single viewing angle range of up to 120°*25°, and has intelligent cleaning and automatic heating functions.
